The Education in Emergencies Program- World Vision South Sudan

Education in emergencies is a critical, life-saving response that works to protect children in conflict and natural disasters, by preserving their right to education. World Vision South Sudan is implementing the education in emergencies program through supporting various schools to Provide quality emergency education and psycho-social support  to conflict-afflicted children across the country. According to the South Sudan Education Cluster, there are over 1.7 million children and adolescents in dire need of emergency education support since the start of the conflict in December 2013. Many of those are still unable to access learning due to displacement, while others are out of school due to the impact of conflict on their communities or are living in host communities where education resources are non-existent or overstretched.This is a video about this Program in the Upper Nile State.
