Andrew Morley
Andrew Morley has been President of World Vision International since February 2019, leading the organisation’s work across 100 countries with more than 34,000 staff. Alongside this role, in 2022 he was appointed Chair of the Steering Committee for Humanitarian Response (SCHR), an alliance of the world’s nine leading humanitarian organisations which promotes greater accountability and impact of humanitarian actions. Andrew is also a member of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC), the most senior decision-making body in humanitarian affairs for the United Nations, and the IASC’s Champion on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH).
Andrew joined World Vision after leading and building successful digital businesses across the internet, retail, technology, telecommunications, financial services and media sectors. Immediately before joining World Vision, he was a partner in a private equity investment group and a Global Trustee at Christian Aid. He was also Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Clear Channel Advertising UK.
Prior to that, Andrew held CEO positions and senior roles in Google Mobility Motorola Mobile, Sky Television, Cable and Wireless, Harrods Group and Ford Motor Company. Now based in the UK, he spent much of his career in international assignments, and has lived and worked in Africa, Australia, France, Germany, Singapore and the United States. Andrew’s biggest blessings are his wife Vanessa and their two children, Lewis and James.
Andrew has a First Class BA Honours Degree in Marketing and Business Management from Liverpool John Moore’s University and a BA Honours Degree in Theology, Ministry and Mission from Durham University (St Mellitus).
His passions are to see the lives of girls and boys across the world transformed in the name of Jesus and to see an end to extreme poverty in his lifetime. Andrew is an ordained minister in the Anglican Church and is a Vicar at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) in London. Prior to World Vision, Andrew volunteered at a Christian homeless charity and has helped to create and support independent Christian children’s development charities in Kenya and South Africa.
Andrew is an enthusiastic cyclist, and is a member of a long-distance cycling team which has taken part in international events. He enjoys running with friends and travelling the world with his family.
