Meet William, a 14 year old helping to fight COVID-19 in his Community
William is from South Sudan, and he stays in Omugo refugee settlement in Uganda's West Nile Region. He is in Primary 4, but since schools were closed to limit the spread of the virus, he has decided to help as an ambassador, taking awareness messages to other children in the settlement.
William is a Hidden Hero in our fight against the spread of COVID-19 in Uganda. He moves around his village with a megaphone sensitising his fellow children about the dangers of Coronavirus, how it's spread and how it can be prevented. World Vision is working with Children like William to create awareness and engage communities about the spread of Coronavirus.
