Cyclone Freddy: World Vision distributes non-food items in Guijá
Sandra Estevão Michope, 14, says she is happy because today she received a blanket, a bucket and water purifier.
"We left home empty-handed and came to this center. Today my grandmother received some goods which will be very helpful to us. We are happy to have blankets to keep us warm at night," said Sandra with a smile on her face.
Sandra is part of the more than 600 people who benefited from various non-food items delivered by World Vision in Mozambique, at the temporary accommodation center in Javanhane, Guijá district, in partnership with the Government.
According to Angelo Pontes, HEA Manager, today, 600 blankets, 100 buckets and 250 units of water purifiers were delivered. Tomorrow, 200 mosquito nets will be delivered.
