ISPCAN Congress, Edinburgh, September 2023

World Vision MEERO team attended the ISPCAN congress on child protection in Edinburgh from 24 to 27 September 2023 to put forward key evidence on child protection, gender, faith and development.

We presented findings from two key regional reports entitled Empowered Women, Empowered Children, which showcases how children’s vulnerability is greatly exacerbated by gender inequality across 10 contexts in the MEER region;

and Empowered through Faith, which delves into how faith and development models and associated activities can influence core well-being outcomes in girls and boys, as well as parenting skills in caregivers.
