Kulbabka: A Story of Hope and Transformation for a Ukrainian Refugee in Georgia

Monday, November 18, 2024

Kulbabka is a ceramic studio led by a Ukrainian refugee living in Georgia. He received financial support to purchase equipment, conduct workshops, and enhance the quality and variety of its products. Additionally, World Vision Georgia receives service from them, and the Kulbabka staff deliver ceramic masterclasses to children and parents at Happy Space through this ongoing collaboration.

World Vision Georgia is dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods and employment opportunities for Ukrainian refugees in Georgia through the Ukraine Crisis Response Programme. Ukrainian entrepreneurs received financial, material and informational support to help them grow and develop their businesses in Georgia. By supporting small business initiatives, World Vision team empowers beneficiaries to achieve self-reliance, helping them navigate integration challenges and thrive in the local market. This support enables them to stay competitive while fostering long-term economic stability within their communities.

The video has been prepared within the Ukraine Crisis Response Programme implemented by World Vision Georgia with the financial support of World Vision International and Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH).
