Children across Lebanon at risk as conflict escalates

The situation, which was previously confined to southern Lebanon has now spread to other areas in Bekaa, Baalbak, Hermel, and Mount Lebanon. deteriorating quickly in the past 24 hours. Thousands of families from the south, Bekaa, and other conflict-affected areas are fleeing to safer locations. The numbers of those internally displaced are not known yet as hundreds of families are currently still on the move. However, ahead of the escalation, over 100,000 individuals were internally displaced.
