Improving learning through locally made play items

World Vision is empowering communities in Kenya to make play items for their children, through locally available materials that can be easily found in their environment or homes. This initiative has come in handy for poor parents that cannot afford to buy toys or play items for their children. The increased access to play items for children has gone a long way in promoting optimal development for boys and girls, as well as improving their performance in school.
