Tackling Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Kenya

As part of its initiatives aimed at promoting the well-being of children, families and communities in Kenya, World Vision implemented a project known as Promoting a Unified Response to, and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (PURPOSE) project. The initiative, which was rolled out in parts of Narok and Nairobi Counties in Kenya, aimed at preventing sexual and gender-based violence cases among vulnerable women and girls, as well as ensuring that those affected are able to access required services and support promptly.
