Water at Kapelibok School
Children at Kapelibok School in Kenya’s Turkana, used to walk for a long distance to fetch water from a contaminated river. This reduced the time children had to study and play. Also, the poor quality of water from the water source exposed the children to numerous diseases. These challenges no longer exist. The children now enjoy clean borehole water, thanks to an extended water pipeline infrastructure supported by World Vision. It has brought clean and fresh water closer to children and communities in Turkana.
