Visser project in Tripoli
The Visser project proposes to address violence against children by mobilizing and equipping faith leaders and Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs), who are powerful agents of change, to initiate activities that influence positive social norms for child well-being.
In North of Lebanon, 200 children participated in face-to-face sessions that assisted them in dealing with daily stress and behaving positively, recognizing negative feelings that they may experience in their daily lives, and adapting to these feelings. And, 80 caregivers participated in the celebrating families modules, which assisted caregivers in understanding the proper way to deal with their children as well as in envisioning the future and acknowledging the present.
