Empowering the women of Niger through savings groups - Aissatou's testimony

Aissatou Alfari is a member of one of 3,400 savings groups in Niger that World Vision works with. Empowered by World Vision and like-minded partners, community savings groups like Aissatou's have been able to mobilise a total of over 850,000 US dollars, allowing them to invest in income-generating activities and thus to be able to provide for their children.

More than 200,000 children from families in which one or more members are part of savings groups, are benefiting in various ways.
