Official Launch of our 25 Years of Transforming Children's Lives in Sierra Leone
It has been 25 years since World Vision began transforming the lives of children in Sierra Leone.
World Vision's operations in Sierra Leone started in 1996, at the height of the nation's civil war, and included providing food and non-food items to thousands of internally displaced people.
“We renew our commitment to work alongside communities,’ partners, and supporters to bring our contribution to the achievement of the Human Capital Development agenda of the Government of Sierra Leone and the Sustainable Development Goals for the sustained wellbeing of all the children of this country,” Sagane Thiaw National Director World Vision Sierra Leone.
