Supporting Education Accessibility After the Earthquake
The earthquake wiped out more than 9 thousand buildings in Syria. Be it partially damaged or completely, many of these buildings were schools which hindered Syrian children from resuming their education. Especially after many of remaining schools were used as temporary shelters.
Knowing how important education is for securing children's future, World Vision Syria Response along with its Partner, Hand in Hand for Aid launched a school rehabilitation project thanks to funding from GIRO 555. This project target the rehabilitation of 15 schools affected by the earthquake and supplying them with furniture and school supplies ensuring a well-rounded education journey.
