World Vision is assisting migrant families on the Chilean-Peruvian border

Tuesday, May 16, 2023

Facing the tension caused by the militarization of the border between Chile and Peru, World Vision Peru has deployed a mobile unit to provide support to children and adolescents from almost 300 migrant families who have been stranded for several days in the area. The organization's presence aims to promote well-being and emotional stability for the youngest ones, through painting workshops and recreational activities that encourage creative expression and community play.

Additionally, it aims to contribute to the prevention of violent events and the promotion of a climate of peace and mutual respect in the area. In times of uncertainty and difficulty, World Vision Peru's work is essential to guarantee the protection and comprehensive development of migrant children.

You can help Venezuelan children and adolescents overcome their vulnerability in the region by supporting our work.
