World Vision Zambia and VisionFund Zambia Strengthen Commitment to Serving Vulnerable Children with New Office Launch

World Vision Zambia and Vision Fund Zambia monumental a pivotal achievement with the formal inauguration of their newly constructed office edifice in Meanwood Ibex Hill, Lusaka. This new establishment signifies a substantial advancement in their collective endeavour to assist marginalized children and families throughout Zambia, enhancing synergy and bolstering the efficacy and effectiveness of their initiatives.

The inauguration event was graced by Minister of Justice  Hon. Princess Kasune, MP., who articulated her longstanding affiliation with World Vision Zambia. 

"Through the years, I have been privileged to witness and contribute to World Vision's mission aimed at enhancing the lives of children and families," Minister Kasune remarked. "This new office will strengthen the capabilities of World Vision Zambia and Vision Fund Zambia to serve a greater number of communities, extend their outreach, and amplify their impact."

The Minister highlighted the symbolic importance of the new facility, noting, "This office embodies hope for the population it serves, functioning as a powerful symbol of dedication and a beacon of hope for forthcoming advancements. It is a testament to the power of collaboration and partnerships. I reaffirm the Zambian government’s continued support for organizations like World Vision that work toward building a just, inclusive, and prosperous Zambia for all."

World Vision International President Andrew Morley conveyed an uplifting message during the ceremony, reminding everyone that they were part of a much larger story.

"As we inaugurate this office, let us acknowledge that we are part of a broader movement, that transcends borders and unites diverse cultures, all motivated by a mutual aspiration for hope, dignity, and justice for all," he stated. 

Mr. Morley emphasized the office's role beyond its physical structure, adding, 

"Let this be a place where we strengthen partnerships, nurture ideas, and transform the lives of children and families. Our commitment here is focused and grounded."

World Vision Zambia National Director Marc Nosbach echoed President Morley's remarks on the significance of the office.

"This building is not just a workplace; it’s a place for expanding our reach and creating greater opportunities for collaboration," he said. "For all of us working here, let it be a daily reminder of the purpose that unites us all, that is fullness of life for children."

Mr. Nosbach also thanked everyone who helped make the office a reality. 

"I want to thank all those who contributed, from planners and leaders to supporters and partners," Marc said. "Together, we are building more than just an office; we are building resilience and a better Zambia for all our children."

The new office will serve as a hub for innovation and community-centered solutions, fostering collaboration between World Vision Zambia and Vision Fund Zambia. It will play a crucial role in driving initiatives that provide life-changing opportunities to children and families nationwide.
