World Vision Responds to Floods in Western Uganda
World Vision on Saturday 11th delivered much needed aid items to people affected by the floods in Western Uganda. The items included mobile toilets, sanitary equipment, blankets and medicine.
While delivering the items to the district offices in Kasese, the World Vision Response Manager, Peter Ondua said the response would help over 1200 households.
“Our priority at the moment is to address the sanitation and health needs of the displaced people," Ondua said, adding that the team will also carry out an assessment if the long term needs.
