World Vision EU Representation is organising the panel discussion "Global collaboration to tackle girls’ malnutrition". The event will highlight the critical issue of malnutrition among adolescent girls, and showcase effective interventions, such as school meal programmes. Ahead of the 2025 Nutrition for Growth Summit, it will be a space for representatives from EU Member States, EU and UN institutions, African partner countries and civil society to come together and say “ENOUGH” to malnutrition.
Dr. Andrea Galante, Senior Policy Advisor for Food Security and Nutrition at World Vision International will present two recent products:
the “Nutrition Dialogue Global Synthesis" - key findings from 400 community dialogues ahead of N4G, conducted by World Vision International and the 4SD Foundation, and supported by a variety of partners;
the “Breaking the Cycle: The Cost of Malnutrition to Girls” - a World Vision report outlining critical actions to tackle malnutrition and its effects on girls like expanding nutrition services for children, addressing adolescent nutrition and combating gender inequality.
