Profile: Ukraine Crisis Response

World Vision is a humanitarian and development non-governmental organisation that serves in more than 100 countries around the world to support the wellbeing of millions of children and their families. This document presents World Vision's areas of work and outreach in the communities of Armenia.

Leveraging AI for Educational Data Analysis and Synthesis - World Vision

This report presents the voices of 69 children—33 girls and 36 boys—aged 14 to 17 from 10 countries, sharing their experiences and perspectives on migration. Through consultations, they discussed key themes, including the drivers of migration, its impact on children, identity documentation, challenges in civil registration, and recommendations for strengthening civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) systems. The participating countries were Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Since the onset of the Syrian crisis in 2011, the World Vision Syria Response (WVSR) has been leading humanitarian and recovery efforts in Syria, Jordan, and Türkiye. This prolonged crisis has resulted in 16.7 million people out of a total population of 23.4 million being in need, marking the highest number since the crisis began in 2011. Children make up 45% of this group, totalling 7.5 million. A staggering 69% of the population lives below the poverty line, with 100,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition. This report covers the third year of our Global WASH Business Plan (fiscal years 2021-2025). It also is our first annual report since World Vision committed to reach 30 million people with clean water between FY23 and FY30.

We are a group of four researchers from the Huaphanh province / Xamnuea district in Laos who conducted a quantitative study on the impacts of climate change and disasters on children in our communities. In recent years, our communities in the high mountains have faced many natural disasters.
