On September 03, 2013, World Vision International launched a new report called 'The Killer Gap'. The report ranks every country according to their "health gap" - demonstrating the difference in health care access between rich and poor.

The report is part of the "Close the Gap" mobilisation that World Vision's Child Health Now's campaign is running globally in the lead up to the United Nation General Assembly in September. The underlying focus of the report and the mobilisation are to scale up focus on inequality and fragile contexts as a continual driver of child mortality. Cambodia scrapes in at number 124 out of 176 based on the report.
