Where We Work
World Vision works in 31 districts of Zambia’s 10 provinces through 39 large-scale community–based Area Programme (APs).
APs are geographical areas where child focused development projects are implemented.
World Vision’s work is focused on the vulnerable communities and provides hope through transformational development, advocacy and humanitarian and emergency response related work.
World Vision works with various communities regardless of race, gender, ethnic background, religious belief or political affiliation.
World Vision aspires for all children in Zambia to be healthy, educated and have a strong character. Our call is to bear witness to Jesus Christ by serving the most vulnerable children through tracking causes of poverty and injustice.
By 2020, World Vision will contribute to the measurable and sustainable improvement in the wellbeing of over 670,000 vulnerable children in Zambia.
Working through VisionFund, World Vision provides financial services to enable impoverished households to increase their incomes. VisionFund provides support for clients to successfully grow their business and use their income to support their children and families.
