Empowered girls

The UN has declared October 11th as the International Day of the Girl Child, to recognise girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. This year's focus is on “Innovating for Girls’ Education”.

At World Vision, we believe a good education for both boys and girls is a foundational building block for individuals, families, and communities striving to escape poverty.
