World Vision International Rwanda Annual Report 2023

This annual report provides an overview of the work of World Vision in Rwanda for the year 2023. In 2023, in collaboration with different stakeholders, we supported vulnerable children and their communities through Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Resilience and Livelihoods, Child Protection, and Education among other interventions.

This year, we celebrated a significant milestone: providing access to clean water to over One Million people from 2018 to 2023, thanks to co-funding and partnership with the Government of Rwanda. In 2023, over 270,000 people in Rwanda gained access to water through World Vision’s support.

Over 678,500 people were empowered through various interventions in livelihoods and financial inclusion through our Resilience and Livelihoods program.  These achievements underscore our commitment to promoting sustainable development and resilience among communities.

In the area of education, World Vision is committed to improving access to quality education for all children, particularly those from vulnerable communities. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of our staff, partners, donors, and the government of Rwanda.
