Cash Programming Capacity Statement

Since 2013 World Vision in Sudan has been implementing cash and voucher programmes. We are providing critical support to vulnerable populations. These programmes deliver survival assistance and help children and their caregivers recover and thrive by addressing underlying issues of poverty. Following the escalation of needs in April 2023, we have expanded our cash programmes to address both multi-sectoral and single-sector needs. The multi-purpose cash assistance spans various sectors including Food Security, Nutrition, Protection, and Education. This initiative is bolstered by a network of strategic partners. Additionally, we work closely with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), relevant government ministries such as the Social Welfare and community structures. Together, we are committed to ensuring delivery of impactful cash assistance to meet the diverse needs of those we serve.
