Stories of Change - Ultra Poor Graduation (UPG) Project

We are thrilled to unveil our publication, ‘Stories of Change,’ which chronicles the transformative journey of the Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) project in Baidoa, Somalia. This 39-month initiative, funded by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), aimed to lift ultra-poor households out of extreme poverty and food insecurity. Running from November 2021 to January 2025, the UPG project focused on enhancing food security, improving quality of life, achieving financial stability and building resilience against disasters.
