Competition and Awards for Journalists on the theme “Enabling Breastfeeding: Making a Difference for Working Parents”

Media plays a major role in public life, influencing citizens focus of attention and providing many facts and opinions that shape perspectives on topics of the day. It is envisaged that this competition will ignite passion among journalists to write more on the importance of breastfeeding, challenges faced by working parents (mother and father), and feasible solutions taken up by working parents to overcome the challenges and barriers to breastfeed. This could potentially influence policy and decision-makers to create a more friendly environment for breastfeeding in the country.

This is an open announcement made to journalists to submit their written work on the theme "Enabling breastfeeding: Making a difference for working parents" in Khmer, written exclusively for this competition. The submitted work will be judged by a panel comprising of experts from relevant INGOs and faculty from media schools.
