Anticipatory Action (AA) is a proactive approach to mitigating the impacts of predicted disasters by acting before they occur. In 2023, with support from ADH and WV Canada, World Vision Middle East and Eastern Europe (WV MEER) piloted AA projects in Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria, focusing on enhancing community resilience, protecting vulnerable groups, and improving disaster preparedness through infrastructure rehabilitation and early warning systems.
