World Vision continues to respond to the more than 6.2 million people going hungry in the country because of drought and conflict.
In 2017, we have provided:
- 537,000 people with livelihood and food security assistance
- 458,000 people with clean water, sanitation and hygiene activities
- 344,000 people with health assistance
- 182,000 people with nutrition activities
- 64,000 people with essential non-food items and emergency shelter support
- 12,000 children with education and protection activities
