The North Coast Entrepreneurship Fair, held in the municipality of Ambriz as part of the Women’s March celebrations, brought together local authorities, partners, and community members to highlight the impact of the NKOLA Project on the lives of women entrepreneurs from Nzeto, Ambriz, and Porto Amboim.

The event showcased the results of the first 12 months of the project, funded by ANPG and Bloco17, managed by TotalEnergies, and implemented by World Vision Angola. According to the Block 17 Manager, Paulo Fernandes, who represented ANPG at this event:“The NKOLA project, with an estimated duration of two years and a strong focus on social cohesion, and, is a concrete example of the commitment and dedication that the National Concessionaire and Block 17 have in their social responsibility policies. I would like to highlight that 28 fishing cooperatives have already been revitalized, 155 training sessions on agricultural business plans have been carried out, 170 farmers have been trained, 25 urban businesses have been created, and 36 community savings groups have been formed.”

During the fair, 48 exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase products developed with the support of the project, demonstrating the positive impact on local communities.
