Partnerships are crucial to creating economic opportunities and developing rural communities. In rural areas, electricity is important as it could be used for crop irrigation, agro-processing, small-scale mining, and to facilitate development, among other things. Bordering on this understanding, the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding, renewing its ongoing partnership with World Vision Zambia at a ceremony held at the Quorum in Lusaka.

This collaboration aims to improve the quality of life in rural communities through enhanced access to electricity, water, sanitation, and hygiene services. The synergy between these agreements is expected to yield transformative outcomes, driving sustainable development in underserved areas.
