Water and Ablution Blocks, Keeps Girls in School at Samuteba Primary

World Vision Zambia has been actively implementing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs in schools. WASH services in schools help children stay healthy and focused on learning. Healthcare facilities equipped with WASH services provide higher quality care for patients, including mothers and their newborns.

Samuteba Primary School in Mwinilunga district previously struggled with access to clean water. World Vision Zambia's provision of a mechanized water system and an ablution block has improved girls' attendance and school performance.
