Behind the scenes; building sanitation infrastructure for Syrian refugees
Jonathan Spence, World Vision procurement and logistics adviser visits the factory where the first 60 cement septic tanks are being cast. Over the next three months, more than 2,600 of these will be built, transported to and installed at Azraq camp, providing one piece of the water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure that will serve the first 30,000 plus Syrian refugees to call Azraq refugee camp “home” – at least temporarily.
