Irene is currently the People& Culture Director at World Vision Uganda. She is a seasoned Human Resources (HR) Specialist and leader with extensive experience in HR management, administration, and leadership development across diverse industries. She has worked in both for-profit and non-governmental organisations, contributing to international businesses and social development projects alike. Irene has held prominent roles at organisations such as Coca-Cola, World Vision International, Plan International, and most recently, Medical Teams International.

 Her expertise spans a wide range of HR functions, including strategic HR planning and development, change management, recruitment and onboarding, leadership development, policy formulation, compliance, performance management, and employee relations. Irene excels in fostering business-focused HR services, driving organisational effectiveness, and aligning HR practices with company goals.

Irene holds a Master’s degree in Organisational Leadership and Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. A devoted leader with a passion for empowering individuals, she is deeply committed to helping others reach their highest potential. Outside of work, Irene enjoys music, reading, sports, and sharing a good laugh.
