The value of clean water for Afghan children

In Afghanistan, 30 out of 34 provinces reported extremely low water quality. And the number of households impacted by the drought in 2022 is six times greater than in 2020 since the country enters its third consecutive drought year.

Through its WASH interventions, Word Vision Afghanistan is providing access to clean water to the most vulnerable children, their families and their communities. Over 207,911 people, including 122,874 children, accessed clean drinking water and received hygiene promotion services in World Vision targeted areas between October 2021 to September 2022.
