Ann serves as the Finance and Support Services Director overseeing Finance & Grants, IT, Fleet, Administration and Security functions. In her role, she is responsible for strategic and operational financial management and effective oversight over management of the fleet, IT and admin functions as well as safety and security of all organisation resources. This includes internal controls and accounting, financial reporting, financial risk management, financial data accuracy and integrity, treasury, and financial aspects of grants management. She plays a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient use of WVU resources and works closely with other departments to create a zero-tolerance culture towards fraud.

Ann is passionate about finance and is driven by adding value and partnering with all stakeholders to bring transformative change in the lives of the children that we serve. She does this by efficiently applying resources to programmes, ensuring accountability, transparency, and reflecting Christ in all her operations.

 Ann has held previous positions as, EAR Assistant Regional Finance Director & Regional Process Owner at WV East Africa Region, Senior Finance & Admin Manager at EARO and Regional Finance & Admin Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at RedR UK among others.

Ann holds a Master of Arts in Peace Studies & International Relations, a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (K). She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. 

 She loves listening to music, spending time and traveling with family, reading and enjoying bowling occasionally, despite not being very sporty.
