Healthy children and healthy mother

Only in the absence of adequate health care in Bangladesh, there are 28 out of 1000 new born child death occurring within the first 28 days of the life, 69% women do not take 4 ANC visits during their pregnancy, 21% women do not take any health care services, Among children under 5 – 36% are stunted, 14% are wasted and 33% are underweighted. Even then 30.82% people in Bangladesh use unimproved sanitation facility. 

In order to overcome this program, World Vision is implementing LEAP – 3 work plan at every corner of the country achieving sustainable goal of 2, 3 and 6. To achieve these goals various programs have been implemented in 1372 villages of 26 sub-districts in 14 districts.
