Education Technical Programme Factsheet

The document presents an overview of the Education Technical Programme implemented by World Vision International in Cambodia (WVI-C) with the objective of increasing in children who are equipped with literacy for life. 

Promoting education for all children is one of the three main strategic priorities of WVI-C. "Unlock Literacy" is the main education model of WVI-C, which is an innovative, evidence-based approach that aims to improve teaching methods for classroom reading by training teachers to incorporate five (5) core reading skills into lesson plans, and to engage students, families, and communities in reading activities outside of school by providing child-friendly reading materials and encouraging caregivers to undertake literacy-supporting activities at home and volunteers to help children improve their reading in community-based reading group activities.
