Colin Dyer
Colin began in World Vision in 2015 and has various economic development roles in WV International and WV Australia, with the primary focus on small and micro business development. Colin has actively participated in the development oversight of Building Secure Livelihoods (BSL), Ultra Poor Graduation (UPG), Savings for Transformation (S4T) and Micro Finance, which are the global implementation models for field teams to utilise in the delivery of best-practice and impact for those they serve.
Colin comes from a substantial business background with many roles including as a Marketing and Development Manager and Administration Manager in Australian-based enterprises. More recently he was based in the Pacific Islands and became the Founder and Managing Director of a significant and sustainable social enterprise (20 years) where he still holds a position as Director. He also spent 3 years in Myanmar with a local NGO as the Program Manager in small business and microfinance project development.
Colin and his wife Joy have 3 children and 5 grandchildren, are based in Queensland Australia, and currently residing in the Solomon Islands.
